The North Orange County Regional Occupational Program created a pathway in education for students interested in teaching and related careers. More than three quarters of students enrolled in the education pathway were English language learners. Transferable college courses taught by college instructors were offered to students after school at the high schools. The program also offered tutoring to support students' success in the courses and college field trips to promote college exploration.
Number of students who took courses:
2008–2009: 43
2009–2010: 83
What do students have to say about the program?
[In my college class] I had more control about what I wanted to do and how I learned it. It’s a good thing, a good feeling.

Before taking this college class, I wasn’t really sure that I was going to attend any college at all. But they really helped me prepare for college and now I know I can attend any college I set my mind to.
